The Commission’s employment equity role involves working with federally-regulated employers to promote equality in workplace, including by conducting audits to asses an employer’s compliance with the obligations set out in the Employment Equity Act .

Manitoba Human Rights Commission

The Manitoba Human Rights Commission is an independent agency of the Government of Manitoba. We are responsible for administering The Human Rights Code, the provincial law that protects individuals and groups from discrimination.
